Banking Treasury Consultant

A leading consultancy firm is looking for an experienced treasurer or consultant with extensive experience within the financial services.

The team is looking for a Treasury subject-matter expert, with extensive experience with either ALM, Liquidity, and/or IRRBB Treasury functions.

You will play a leading part in an exceptional team that is at the forefront of the Treasury environment, working with and advising top UK banking clients on their various Treasury functions. Your expert knowledge on Treasury matters will assist clients with their ALM function and elements of regulatory frameworks impacting Treasury (Capital, FX, interest rate risk, liquidity). From a commercial vantage point, you will manage and oversee engagements with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as spearheading new business propositions and managing multiple project work streams and deliverables.

To qualify for the role, you will have;

• Ideally 5 years’ experience within financial services Treasury or non-traded market risk practices
• Practical experience within one of the following Treasury remits; asset and liability management, liquidity, or interest rate risk
• Expert knowledge of a financial services’ balance sheet structure, income streams, and financial risks
• Technical knowledge of banking regulatory frameworks
• A university degree, ideally within Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Statistics
