Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Auditor to join a global IT Audit team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on information technology audits to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure, IT operations, and related processes. You will be required to identify potential risks, assess internal controls, and recommend improvements to mitigate risk and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Analyze and assess the organization’s IT operations and processes to identify potential risks and recommend solutions to mitigate these risks
• Develop audit plans, scope, and objectives, and ensure timely and accurate completion of audit assignments
• Review and evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT controls, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports that summarize audit findings and recommendations to improve controls, reduce risk, and improve operational efficiency
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective actions
• Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging technologies to inform audit planning and risk assessment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or related certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT auditing, information security, or related field
• Knowledge of IT audit standards, risk assessment methodologies, and best practices
• Experience conducting audits of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop effective solutions
•   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
•   Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools and technologies
• Fluent in English. German is a plus.
